Commitment
Performers are expected to commit an entire school year. However, if a dancer wishes to explore additional opportunities, please discuss this with Cassie Gillett so that accommodations can be made so that everyone benefits.
Acro and Tricks 1: Suitable for ages 4+. Hone skills of balance, strength, and flexibility to perform gymnastic tricks by self and with partner(s).
Acro and Tricks 2: Suitable for ages 6+. Hone skills of balance, strength, and flexibility to perform gymnastic tricks by self and with partner(s). Must be able to do independently a bridge on the with head lifted from floor and a basic cartwheel.
Ballet 2/3: Suitable for ages 8 to 11. Focus on ballet technique, proper body alignment, terminology, and musicality. A great add on to Combo III or IV.
Combo I (formerly Beginners): Suitable for ages 3-4. Introduces the basic steps of ballet and jazz while also learning gross motor and social skills. Must be 3 by September 1 in order to partake.
Combo II (formerly Intermediate I): Suitable for ages 5-7. Introduces the basic steps of ballet, jazz, and lyrical.
Combo III (formerly Intermediate II): Suitable for ages 7+. Introduces more complex steps of ballet, jazz, and lyrical.
Combo IV: By Invitation only. Builds upon the more complex steps of ballet, jazz, and lyrical.
Creative Movement/ Basic Tumbling: Suitable for boys and girls ages 2.5 through 4. Introduces moving body to music, basic tumbling elements, building body awareness, gross motor skills, and social skills.
